The losing champion... Here is what it comes to my mind when I think to Alex De Angelis. I do not want to say that his job is bad because its wrong to say that. But its obvious that for the moment he is just good to be second or third or more... Of course its a really great achievement to be regularly on top Three or on top five, biut its a really bad performance to never win in that position. He had all to win last sunday, all to make his second victory in 250cc on the same track that saw his first les season. He had a strong pace, a good gap on the second, and only few laps to go... But he could not hold it. He could not hold the fantastic and flying Kallio on his KTM bike. Finnish rider made on bite of De Angelis at four laps to the end...
De Angelis is second, stays a champion, but he never win. Nevertheless he secure his future by signing a contract with Gresini Team. Next season things can change...
The rest of the contenders of this GP made a great show, Alvaro Bautista showed as always a good style and attack before he came out. Andrea Dovizioso was equal to himself with deterination and motivation but was passed just before the line by the substitute to Lorenzo, Alex Debon who took at 31 years old his first podium ever.
The spaniard Jorge Lorenzo, already world champion for the second time straight finished 7th.
A end of season as a handover by the young riders of the 250cc class, Kallio first even if Bautista will be, for sure, a very hard contender next season...
