The Grand prix commission made a meeting lest weekend at Valencia and decided to change the current tyre limitation rules.

In 2008 MotoGP riders could use a maximum of 40 slicks tyres ( 18 front and 22 rear) for each GP (practices and race included), decided the Grand prix Commission who met last weekend at Valencian (Spain).

The Commission made also able manufacturers to do more testings by choosing a track before the start of season, a track where they could do tests four days in the year with test riders.

The third Manufacturer, Dunlop, who was the supplier of the french Team Yamaha Tech 3 will not be their supplier next season said Hervé Poncharal.
