Gabor Talmacsi has made the best move of the weekend after his victory on the Malaysian Grand Prix of Sepang last sunday. Gabor Talmacsi and Hector Faubel was just separated by one point at the championship before this race and thanks to his victory, and to the fact that japanese rider Tomoyoshi Koyama (KTM) could take the second position ahead Faubel, Talmacsi is now ten points ahead the spaniard at the championship.

Talmacsi has won 6.753s ahead of Japanese rider Tomoyoshi Koyama and Spain's Hector Faubel in third, who was 7.793 behind the winner. Faubel had started in pole position.

Talmacsi said his Aprilia machine performed well in the hot conditions.
"We had a good set-up Saturday. So I could go fast today. I enjoyed the race.

The bike was awesome and the brakes were effective unlike in Phillip Island circuit last week," he said.

Koyama, riding a KTM, described the race as "difficult" due to the tropical heat.
"The race was difficult. I had some problems with the tyres. I had a near crash," he said.
Koyama lies third in the overall standings with 186 points.

Faubel, who is duelling with Talmacsi for the championship title, now lies 10 points behind the Hungarian. Talmacsi has 262 points while Faubel has 252.
"At the start, the bike was good. But in the middle of the race, I don't know what happened to the bike.
"But I will keep fighting for the championship title until the last race in Valencia," said Faubel.

The 125cc class championship was theater of a hard fight this season, but this is not over yet.
It left 25 points to win at Valencia next November 4th.

Gabor Talmacsi is now favourite, but he also have no right to mistake because if Faubel is in position to win, Talmacsi must finish not worst than third...
We will know the world champion after the next race, the suspense is killing us!

About www.motorcyclists-online.com English version:
At the beginning, in 2001, www.motorcyclists-online.com was an exclusive French Motorcycle website. Now, since September 2005, it has become bilingual: English speaking people are welcome !
We do believe, at www.motorcyclists-online.com, that linguistic boundaries are not a problem when we share the same passion for bikes.
We are currently working on translating all articles and contents, to finish the UK/US version. You will certainly notice some bugs or translation errors: please do not hesitate to advise us by e-mail, Private Message or by posting in the Forum. Your help is welcome !
For the moment, articles which haven’t been human translated are automatically machine translated, which I must confess is not really famous, but faster than human translators.
