Jorge Lorenzo is now 56 points on Andrea Dovizioso (Honda) to the championship standings. The Italian rider seemed to be a good contender for the victory before he was hit at the end of the race by Finland's Mika Kallio (KTM).
"Its a great day for me" said Lorenzo after the race. "For me, this win is fantastic. I am going to celebrate like this is the end of the world."
So Lorenzo is now double 250cc class world champion , next season he will be the team mate of Valentino Rossi in the Fiat Yamaha Team. A great new challenge for him.
The race was won by the Japanese Hiroshi Aoyama (KTM), this is his second victory of the season.
He has won ahead spaniards Hector Barbera and Jorge Lorenzo (both on aprilia).
Andrea Dovizioso (Honda) has just ended the race in 11th.
The unfortunate italian made all he cout to fight against Lorenzo, but its a mistale made by one of his opponents who will send him out...
Andrea Dovizioso was in a good pace and was making a fantastic race, but Mika Kallio, second KTM rider came out of nowhere in a totally missed braking, and hit Dovizioso...
Japanese Hiroshi Aoyama (KTM) was at this moment alone on top and could cross the line with 2 seconds and 251 thousands on Barbera, and alsmost three seconds on Lorenzo.
"Tyres worked very weel, and the bike was very good. My mechanics helped me so much. I am very happy with this result.", said Aoyama after his brilliant victory.
