This race was extremely close. 9 rider in the same second and a half.
A magical last lap with tons of overtakings and overmotivated and kamikazes riders ...

But the one who did the best operation was Hector Faubel. By finishing third the spaniard is now extremely close to Gabor Talmacsi (who finished only 8th), both arer now separated by one tiny point to the championship!

For Lukas Pesek, this victory is his second of the season after the one he won in China last May 6th.

Lukas Pesek, 1°: "It was a great race, the bike was fast and the team was good today. I wouldlike to thank all my team and all the gyus that work with me, also all my family.

I was relax on the bike and I really enjoyed this race."

Joan Olive, 2°: "I am very happy to be on the podium. It was a great fight, I tryed toi pass on Lukas but it was impossible. I am Happy, see you at the next race."

Hector Faubel, 3°: "It was a hard end of week, esêcially due to the weather. There were a lot of wind, but its usual here in Phillip Island. I started sixth and arrived third, so its good to be on the podium.

I satisfyed also because I take some important points for the championship."

About www.motorcyclists-online.com English version:
At the beginning, in 2001, www.motorcyclists-online.com was an exclusive French Motorcycle website. Now, since September 2005, it has become bilingual: English speaking people are welcome !
We do believe, at www.motorcyclists-online.com, that linguistic boundaries are not a problem when we share the same passion for bikes.
We are currently working on translating all articles and contents, to finish the UK/US version. You will certainly notice some bugs or translation errors: please do not hesitate to advise us by e-mail, Private Message or by posting in the Forum. Your help is welcome !
For the moment, articles which haven’t been human translated are automatically machine translated, which I must confess is not really famous, but faster than human translators.
