Italian Mattia Pasini, starting from pole position, won his fourth 125cc Grand Prix of the season here Sunday as Aprilia riders swept the podium.
Hungarian Gabor Talmacsi came in second and stretched his overall lead to nine points over Spain's Hector Faubel, who finished third at the Japanese Grand Prix with three more races to go.

The 22-year-old Pasini, starting from his eighth pole position of the season, clocked 46 minutes 29.900 seconds, 2.985 seconds ahead of Talmasci. Faubel finished 19.420 seconds further back.
Pasini has earlier triumphed in the British, Dutch and San Marino rounds in the past three months.
It was the sevnth straight 125cc win for Aprilia, their longest ever winning streak in the class.

The italian rider made a perfect race keeping all the way the advantage took at the start :
« Race conditions were very tough today. We struggeled a lot to find the right settings at the Warm Up but I managed to focus on my riding for the race at keep a good rythm. I am very happy of this victory, Thanks to all my team, I dedicate it to them. This morning we were far away of a hope of victory. Now my aim is to reach the Top 3 at the championship.

Gabor Talmacsi and Hector Faubel, the two major contenders for the title did not fought as Talmacsi could go and follow Pasini. Faubel is now a little less behind him, but the fight wll be far stronger next GP...

Gabor Talmacsi: « I was good in some part of the track and I was able to catch Mattia, but less good in others and forced to slow down. Then, Mike Di Meglio fell and that let me some space on Faubel. I decided to secure my position, Mattia pasini is not a dangerous rider for the championship so this resulmt is very important. »

Héctor Faubel: « At the end I just lost 4 points on Gabor in a race that could cost me a lot more. I made the best race on the wet ever for me, because until now I was not so good.

So I am very happy because my rythm was good, as good as Talmacsi's. So I manage to stay on my wheels. With 75 points to win before the end, its not a bad operation. »

About www.motorcyclists-online.com English version:
At the beginning, in 2001, www.motorcyclists-online.com was an exclusive French Motorcycle website. Now, since September 2005, it has become bilingual: English speaking people are welcome !
We do believe, at www.motorcyclists-online.com, that linguistic boundaries are not a problem when we share the same passion for bikes.
We are currently working on translating all articles and contents, to finish the UK/US version. You will certainly notice some bugs or translation errors: please do not hesitate to advise us by e-mail, Private Message or by posting in the Forum. Your help is welcome !
For the moment, articles which haven’t been human translated are automatically machine translated, which I must confess is not really famous, but faster than human translators.
