It was a tough, special and spectacular race today! First started on a wet track, this japanese sprint finally took place after a quarter on a drying track. The best won, thanks to his race strategy. The key of this GP.
The main information is the world titme for Casey Stoner. The young Australian rider Casey Stoner finished his race in sixth position, but far ahead Rossi (ony 13th due to his bad race strategy). Casey Stoner is now mathematically sure to be the 2007 MotoGP World Champion.
Loris Capirossi was the spartest, he chenged his bike at the right moment, like Randy De Puniet and was able to reach his third victory at Motegi for the third year straight.
The second position is for Randy De Puniet, the french rider, often on the gravel made also many mistakes at the begining but when he put slicks tyres, he could take a good position. Second its the best position for a Kawasaki.
At last the third position is for Toni Elias. He has a hard battle with Sylvain Guintoli during the last laps, but Elias could stay ahead the french rookie. Nice result for both.
For the other categories, races were also very spectacular. In 250cc Mika Kallio took his firts victory in this category. The finnish is followed by Andrea Dovizioso and Hector Barbera. Jorge Lorenzo, championship leader is only 11th.
In 125cc, Mattia Pasini made a fantastic weekend, Pole position and race. He has won far ahead on a very wet track. The Podium is ended by the two championship fighters, Gabor talmacsi and Hector Faubel. The battle will be even harder for the next GP...
Full report tomorrow.
