What a championship! Only five points between Talmacsi and Faubel... The fight will be tough and strong until the end. But from yesterday the two bigger contenders for the world title had a very beautiful fight...

Both are in the same team, Gabor Talmacsi and Hector Faubel have gave to portugese specators a nice show, with the help of Simone Corsi, Joan Olive, Pol Espargaro and of course the most disappointed of all Mattia Pasini.
No, Pasini did not broke his engine, he just camle off the track, a stupid mistake, but finaly not that bad as he was able to finish 8th.

Up front, the race was the theater of a nice battle as we like to see (and as we see often) in 125cc. Several overtakings, in corner or in braking sections, with 3 or 4 riders face to face...

After the mid race, Corsi and Olive were a bit behind Espargaro Faubel and Talmacsi, and the battle for the victory could begin.
Espargaro showed a real talent and a huge motivation but the final fight was between Talmacsi and Faubel.
Talmacsi was leader in the last lap but the last corner (parabolic) is good for the slip stream and Faubel was able to pass Talmacsi just before the finish line...

Hector Faubel : "After Misano I knew that I had to make a good race.

I had not also to let Talmacsi go. So I push and in the last corner I was able to take his slip stream and I could overtake him. Its a very important victory."

Gabor Talmacsi : "During the race I notice that it was tough for me to keep the slip stream of other guys. I try to escape at the end but the new Aprilia is very fast (Gabor Talmacsi uses the old vesion of the RS125), Faubel was finaly able to pass me. I am happy anyway, Faubel is an intelligent rider and the final battle will be beautiful."

Pol Espargaro : "In 125cc GP riders are very fast! Talmacsi, Faubel and the others.

I couldn't do more when they passed me but it was a nice race. I am very happy."

About www.motorcyclists-online.com English version:
At the beginning, in 2001, www.motorcyclists-online.com was an exclusive French Motorcycle website. Now, since September 2005, it has become bilingual: English speaking people are welcome !
We do believe, at www.motorcyclists-online.com, that linguistic boundaries are not a problem when we share the same passion for bikes.
We are currently working on translating all articles and contents, to finish the UK/US version. You will certainly notice some bugs or translation errors: please do not hesitate to advise us by e-mail, Private Message or by posting in the Forum. Your help is welcome !
For the moment, articles which haven’t been human translated are automatically machine translated, which I must confess is not really famous, but faster than human translators.
