MotoGP Sepang Starting Grid : Dani Pedrosa on pole once again2007-10-20

After four races dominated by Casey Stoner from begining to the end, MotoGP fans were expecting a pride wake up of the other MotoGP riders to at last see a real battle.

Sunday, on the Estoril race track, the battle finaly went on, like the last Catalunya GP, the result was between Rossi , Pedrosa and Stoner.

At the start no surprises, Casey Stoner made the hole shot ahead Dani Pedrosa, the poleman Nicky Hayden, Marco Melandri, John Hopkins and at last Valentino Rossi, third on the grid but who made a safe start as usual, before begining to take the way up front.

Soon a four riders group take the advbantage and go, but nonless a nice battle with Hopkins and especially Melandri.
The real fight for the victory begun between Pedrosa Stoner and Rossi, Hayden was there too but a little bit behind.

After some laps, the three firsts positions was occuped by Pedrosa Rossi and Stoner, and the big fight between Pedrosa and Rossi could start.
Until the last lap the two riders were very close, and at tw laps from the end Rossi could pass Pedrosa, and keep the lead to the finish line.

It's a very sad day for motorsport and I am glad that I could win for him today. This is a very important victory for us in every way, it's the fourth one of the year so the numbers are starting to look a little bit better, and it's a great, great emotion to win again after so long without even a podium. Today my Yamaha and my tyres worked very well. Our new engine is better and today I was able to keep in the slipstream of the Honda and the Ducati on the straight, and even to go alongside them at some points, so this is ...

About www.motorcyclists-online.com English version:
At the beginning, in 2001, www.motorcyclists-online.com was an exclusive French Motorcycle website. Now, since September 2005, it has become bilingual: English speaking people are welcome !
We do believe, at www.motorcyclists-online.com, that linguistic boundaries are not a problem when we share the same passion for bikes.
We are currently working on translating all articles and contents, to finish the UK/US version. You will certainly notice some bugs or translation errors: please do not hesitate to advise us by e-mail, Private Message or by posting in the Forum. Your help is welcome !
For the moment, articles which haven’t been human translated are automatically machine translated, which I must confess is not really famous, but faster than human translators.
