The two Kawasaki on first row

Thanks to the rain, both bikes of the PSG1 Corse team could reach the first and second position on the grid during the final qualifying session.
Fonsi Nieto could take the pole position followed by his team mate Regis Laconi. Unfortunately they could tae advantage of these places due to the dry races of sunday.
A big deception also in the Suzuki Alstare Team as Yukio Kagayama was forced to retire from the event du to a right wirst broken metacarpial.

First race : Haga consistant, Toseland totaly off the the race...
But it was Bayliss who took the best start and also fly up front to have a significant gap until the middle pof the race.
Behind him Haga, Biaggi, Corser, Neukirchner and Xaus were trying all they can to not let the aussi go while fighting for the best position.
During this, James Toseland, currently first at the championship was losing positions after positions to end the race in 9th place.

The first third of the race done, two fall were to count on top, Neukirchner's one and Xaus, it was time for Haga to start the chase of bayliss.
Lap after lap, the japanese was catching the Ducati rider and off course in the middle of the race could finaly overtake him.

Hage made it very easily as Bayliss was also slowing the pace dangerouysly for him.

The other duel of this race was between Biaggi and Corser. Alone in third position, Biaggi saw a fast Corser catching him in the last part of the race, but the Italian was strong and when he saw Corser, he was able to up his pace just enough to avoid attacks of the other Troy.
The two riders finaly catch a grip lacking Bayliss, and could finish both on the posium.

For Kawasaki, this race was just as usual, Laconi was 6th and Nieto 7th.

About www.motorcyclists-online.com English version:
At the beginning, in 2001, www.motorcyclists-online.com was an exclusive French Motorcycle website. Now, since September 2005, it has become bilingual: English speaking people are welcome !
We do believe, at www.motorcyclists-online.com, that linguistic boundaries are not a problem when we share the same passion for bikes.
We are currently working on translating all articles and contents, to finish the UK/US version. You will certainly notice some bugs or translation errors: please do not hesitate to advise us by e-mail, Private Message or by posting in the Forum. Your help is welcome !
For the moment, articles which haven’t been human translated are automatically machine translated, which I must confess is not really famous, but faster than human translators.
