Troy Bayliss made the fastest lap of the first qualifying session ahead Troy Corser and Yukio Kagayama.

Leader this morning during free parctice, Troy Bayliss has dominated once again and clocked the best lap for the qualifying session 1. The Ducati rider taking advantage of the drying track during the last minutes of the session.
The aussie is followed by his fellow countryman Troy Corser on Yamaha, Yukio Kagayama on Suzuki and Noriyuki Haga.

Behind them, James Toseland takes the fifth position followed by Xanu and a stunning Bioaggi, already 7th as we know that it is his first time on this track.
Ton end this Top ten Michele Fabrizio 8th, Karl Muggeridge 9th, and Lorenzo Lanzi 10th.
