Just titeled, Sofuoglu is not less motivated and has not hesitated to push on a wet track to try to catcjh his team mate Sébastien Charpentier. The 2006 world champion is also highly motivated after his big disappointment of Brands Hatch.

Beheind the two leaders, Broc Parkes takes the third position on his Yamaha ahead the Honda of Katsuaki Fujiwara. Mathieu Lagrive takes the fifth position, followed by Vesa Kallio, Tommy hill and David Checa.
