After the official announcement yestarday that the WSBK US event expected for 2008 will take place at the Miller Motorsport Park, now Barber Motorsport Park tells that they are alway in the course...

We knew that the two tracks were « fighting » to host WSBK in 2008.

But Barber was finaly « double-crossed » by the Miller Motorsport Park.
Anyway the organiser does not give up, even if his financial plan was ruined, for sponsors and all, according to Gene Hallman :
« It’s truly 50/50, at this point.
And if we do pass in 2008, that in no way, shape or form precludes us from reconsidering and taking SBK’s offer for 2009. »

For the moment no sure date was unveil but some talk about the April 18-20, with the add of two AMA championship races...
