Like sunday afternoon, Casey Stoner finished on top on the Brno Track.
The Ducati Rider and his team mate hhad tested a new front fairing. Narrower than the old one, it seems to be very satisfaying. Stoner lapped consistantly under the 1,59 with a best lap in race rubber of 1,58.254.
We did not know for the moment when this new fairing will be used, but it seems quite probable that Misano will be its first official appearance. However Stoner said that the team had to gathered more informations about it.
The other big new is the for Yamaha. Valentino Rossi has tested a new engine with pneumatic valves. No significant changes was his comment. A day who was stopped early by the rain (at 4pm), just when they begun to test tires.
On Honda side, the improvements comes step by step. Nicky Hayden was the most hard worker, once again, and felt that things were going to be better and better most af all, thanks to a new chassis brought by the HRC and who gave him better traction.
At last for Suzuki, John Hopkins was put aside the 2008 evolusions, but tested an « Evo » engine, Okada and Vermeulen too and it will be used in race for the Misano GP in two wees.
The 2008 prototype of the GSV-R will be partly shown at the Motegi tests after the Japana GP.
