Troy Bayliss signed the Superpole on the Brands Hatch race track ahead the local hero and current world championship leader James Toseland for 27 thousands.
The two riders, announced as favourites for the victory will be referee by Noriyuki Haga (Yamaha) third and Yukio Kagayama (Suzuki) fourth.

On the second row, the first rider who will start just behind Troy Bayliss on the second Yamaha is Troy Corser, just ahead Max Biaggi 6th who made his best result of the weekend.
To end this second row we find two Ducati, Ruben Xaus's one and Lorenzo Lanzi's official 999.
