For this second qualifying session, determining, for the 16th fastest, the order for the superpole, Troy Bayliss was able to made the best lap in 1'26,207, the Ducati rider is followed by Troy Corser who fails just at 180 thousands, James Toseland, third is also only at 193 thousands of the best lap... The fourth, Ruben Xaus, is at 608 thousands.
The second Official Ducati of Lorenzo Lanzi is fifth ahead the Honda of Roberto Rolfo. Noriyuki Haga on the Yamaha is 7th followed by Laconi on the Kawasaki. To end the Top Ten Yukio Kagayama is th and Fabrizio 10th, Max Biaggi current second of the championship is only 12th.
