During this first qualifying session in WSSP, Anthony West made the best lap time followed by Craig Jones and Broc Parkes.

250cc grand prix rider, « free lance » tester for Kawasaki in Catalunya, and great substitute to Kevin Curtain. Anthony West has a very attractive calling card! If we add to that his fantastic vioctory at Silverstone under a very heavy rain, the boy can be proud!
He gonna quit 250cc racing to join WSSP at full time, as he said. But probably not with Yamaha SSP racing, because he is only a substitute...
Well, this session was topped by Anthony West, like the free practice session of this morning, on the Misano race track who was modified a little, and re-surfaced for the coming of MotoGP.
The Aussie takes the first position ahead Craig Jones and Broc Parkes, West Team mate in Yamaha.
Fourth Sébastien Charpentier, best of Honda Ten Kate, Sofuoglu is only 10th...
The gaps between riders are thins and Sofuoglu is only at 6 tenth, but it is kind of strange...
