Even if after this first qualifying session, the turkish is second behind Sébastien Charpentier, this morning he realised a great performance which probably disgusted some riders...

This morning Sofuoglu was the author of an amazing lap in 1'50,691, 1 and a half second faster than Fabien Foret.
So I take the risk to say that what I am going to maintain is not at all anticipated : If Sofuoglu does not hurt himself this season, He is the Supersport World Champion 2007.
Enough joking, here is the results of the first qualifying session.
First, Sébastien Charpentier, but with a lap time slower than the one realised by his team mate this morning, 1'50,711. He is closely followed, off course, by the Atomic Turkish, and third Fujiwara, so three Honda on the tree firsts position.
The provisional first row is ended by Fabien Foret, in good shape and on a Kawasaki who seems to go better and better.
Follow Broc Parkes on the Yamaha World SSP team bike, Veneman on the Suzuki, Pere Riba on the second Team Gil Motor Sport kawasaki, and finaly Anthony West, substitute of Kevin Curtain.
The hierarchy is respecterd even if one of the most important entertainer of the championship is not here (Kevin Curtain).
The final starting grid will be decided tomorrow after the second qualifying session.
