Suzuka's eight hours are for sure the most prestigious race for Japanese manufacturers, and mostly for Honda.
Often winner of this race, Honda had also involve great riders from MotoGP or WSBK championships to achieve their aim of victory.

A race that made come a very big crowd of people, on a very beatiful, spectacular and dangerous track. A race as mythical for Japanese as name of the riders who won there. Doug Pollen, Mike Doohan, the sorely missed Daijiro Kato, Daryl Beattie, Colin Edwards or Valentino Rossi, all of these riders won at least on time this legendary race.

For the 2007 Edition Honda decided to continue this tradition and involve Nicky Hayden which could race beside Carlos Checa, already in Japan with Honda to make some tests, probably on a CBR.
Another Team will be involve with James Toseland, and the British SBK champion Ryuichi Kiyonari, a very talented rider.

A race to not miss, it will take place July 29, one week after the Laguna Seca MotoGP grand prix.
