Andrea Dovizioso made a Sofuoglu style start. With a beautiful gap made after a couple of corners, Bautista, Lorenzo, Lüthi and De Angelis begun to come back after couple of laps.
From 17 laps to the end the race begun to be stronger and Bautista passed Dovi.
But the Honda rider passed again in 1st position at 11 laps to the end.
Thanks to this battle for Lorenzo who rejoined the two leaders and at this moment the big fight as the one of jerez begun.
After the big straight, at 8 laps to the end, Lorenzo made his first big attack with a stunning and very hard braking, he passed the two riders and Dovi followed him and the two riders had a little collision.
Those kind of braethtaking moves continued all the rest of the race, but Dovizioso was stronger and Lorenzo after a little mistake on the last corner was able to keep his second position.
Behind the three riders, De Angelis made his best but was quickly let behind, same as Lüthi who finished 5th. Rookies were good today, Kallio on his KTM is 6th and Simon is 7th on Honda.

Andrea Dovizioso : « Today the race was very fast, I had some little grip problems and it was a very tough race. It is icredible to win here an for me the championship starts here. »

Jorge Lorenzo : « At the begining it was tough and in the middle of the race the tyres begun to be better. But Dovizioso was stronger today. »
3 -19 Alvaro BAUTISTA (SPA) Master - Mapfre Aspar
Alvaro Bautista : « I am very happy to be on the podium again, I feel good during all the race, the bike was good and I like this track. But after I had lose some time I try to come back but my rear tyre was finished so I could not do better. »
