Valentino rossi (Seven times world Moto GP champion) said today (one more time...) that he may be a F1 pilot.

Six months after the failure of his project to join the Italian Ferrari Team: "the F1 chapter is not yet closed", declared Rossi, 27 years, after a test session on the Hockenheim (western) with Mika Hakkinen (Finland) 's Mercedes DTM.

Rossi did not give more details, but compared driving a DTM car with driving a mono-seat: "a DTM car feels like a normal car whereas a F1 is completely different, it is not a normal".

The "Doctor" will race from the 17 to November 19 the New Zealand WRC rally, penultimate race of the World Championship.

Early 2006, Rossi made some private test sessions with a F1 Ferrari and was presented like the potential Michael Schumacher successor.

Rossi, just beaten by the American Nicky Hayden, says he is "super-motivated to win his 8th world champion title" with his Yamaha. The italian rider is still in contract with Yamaha for 2007.

palariscy (10-11-2006): yes right.Driving a motorbike is not the same as driving a car.Especially if that car is an F1 car.He better stick with the bikes where he is good at
