He was surgered for a bad broken ankle, and was under artificial breathing.
After couple of days in Cadix, the rider was taken to Italy and woke up.
Now Locatelli is in better shape but need some surgery for his numerous face injuries.
So the news are good for him and we hope to see him on the circus soon!

But the circumstances of his crash are not already defined.
The second practice session was not broadcasted on french TV, the images that I have seen came from Italian TV.
The crash took place in a high speed double right corner.
So I will tell you what I saw.
Roberto Locatelli come out of the first right corner, he pick up a little his bike to prepare the entrance of the second right corner. He put out his knee and begin to focus on the inside but suddenly, the bike turn left and go in the wall.
The video is edifying...
For the moment there are no explainations to that but it is very probable that it is the consequence of a mechanical failure.

About www.motorcyclists-online.com English version:
At the beginning, in 2001, www.motorcyclists-online.com was an exclusive French Motorcycle website. Now, since September 2005, it has become bilingual: English speaking people are welcome !
We do believe, at www.motorcyclists-online.com, that linguistic boundaries are not a problem when we share the same passion for bikes.
We are currently working on translating all articles and contents, to finish the UK/US version. You will certainly notice some bugs or translation errors: please do not hesitate to advise us by e-mail, Private Message or by posting in the Forum. Your help is welcome !
For the moment, articles which haven’t been human translated are automatically machine translated, which I must confess is not really famous, but faster than human translators.
