He is the world champion and want to be it again. He did not fail squaring up a very cutthroat competition. A new strength demonstration by the Spanish rider, despite some very motivated contenders.

My memory of this week-end 250cc grand prix will be the very beautiful show that they had offer us. What a race !!
125cc race was good, MotoGP I almost fell asleep.... And if you get rid of the 250cc because, you know « what a hell, it never happens nothing... » you were wrong! So wrong because this race was the most exciting of the week end!

Jorge Lorenzo, great talented rider, beautiful style, it looks like Tamada on his bike, he is very demonstrative, too much maybe, more than Rossi.... But very talented and that is the most important. But this week end Bautista, at home, like Lorenzo, did a fantastic performance. So will can he make the pêrformance of Pedrosa...

To win te 250cc championship at the first attempt? I keep the bet! But Alvaro is not alone and Dovizioso for exemple, will not give him one single easy chance, despite his Honda, obviously less powered as the Aprilia. There is the eternal second, Alex De Angelis also, very motivated, so after the second race off course, all is open. And off course Hector Barbera, he also could be world champion...
They are all capable of win, and that makes this championship very spectacular. Rookies are hot and competitive, and favorites are here and motivated. After only two races and even if Lorenzo seems to be the strongest, I think his work will be more difficult than we thought.

Now some news about Roberto Locatelli, the Italian rider crashed out very badly saturday and we do not know yet the exact causes of his accident.

He hit the safety barrier at 120Kmh. He underwent surgery last night for his left ankle and he is stable now. He is always pharmacologically-induced coma at the Cadix Hospital and attached to a life support machine but he is OK. His crew and medecins said that they hope he could ride in Mugello, so let's hope it for him.

250cc Championship, World Standings :

1 -LORENZO Jorge (SPA): 50
2 -DE ANGELIS Alex (RSM): 33
3 -DOVIZIOSO Andrea (ITA): 27
4 -BAUTISTA Alvaro (SPA): 20
5 -TAKAHASHI Yuki (JPN): 17
6 -BARBERA Hector (SPA): 16
7 -AOYAMA Shuhei (JPN): 15 ...

About www.motorcyclists-online.com English version:
At the beginning, in 2001, www.motorcyclists-online.com was an exclusive French Motorcycle website. Now, since September 2005, it has become bilingual: English speaking people are welcome !
We do believe, at www.motorcyclists-online.com, that linguistic boundaries are not a problem when we share the same passion for bikes.
We are currently working on translating all articles and contents, to finish the UK/US version. You will certainly notice some bugs or translation errors: please do not hesitate to advise us by e-mail, Private Message or by posting in the Forum. Your help is welcome !
For the moment, articles which haven’t been human translated are automatically machine translated, which I must confess is not really famous, but faster than human translators.
