a jacket high performance, pleasant to wear, but perhaps a little expensive... Security has a price;-(

My small paper rose in hand, I made the round of shops for me.

What I already knew, is that I did not want a leather, and also that I was looking for the maximum protection for a non-not sporting conduct, but rather urban Parisian chaos.

After long hesitation, I eventually opt for quiet look of the jacket from SPIDI VECTOR.

Look at the technical aspects:

First, I am impressed because this vest is adjustable across... pressures and zip for down, mi-ceinture for size, settings by bracelets on the arm and pressure + zip for the wrists. Not to mention the adjustment at the level of the neck by two adjustable velcro... Me that do not have a "standard" size, I use and abuse of these settings that I discover every day... It will not forget fasteners under the legs and to keep the jacket down...

Then, there are the reinforcements... Again, nothing wrong, there are protections across...

Of course there are traditional hulls kevlar for the forearms, elbows, back, shoulders, but found it in particular protections "air bubble" at the level of the torso and back in fact being sillicone.

For textiles, it is of cordura, breathable, with a removable liner and the zip to create some vents on the sides. The own Italian brand H2OUT system is really effective and guarantees this jacket a perfect seal and an optimal comfort... The linings are well made, good quality fabric (at this price, it is a minimum...), and machine washable, which is good! (hein_ma_puce_???_;o))

This is technical aspects... now use, it gives what?

Well, I'm not disappointed... having had any kind of time, wind, rain, hail, Sun... This jacket is comfortable regardless of the time...

Certainly in the beginning, its weight is a little disconcerting, it is difficult a get used, especially on the dorsal hull which is the far back right (this is my mom who is going to be happy!), but after a few kilometres, the jacket is comfortable and particularly reassuring. It does not fear the rain and dry in 10 minutes on a Chair, the wind he does not fear and cold even less...
Only small default Note: closure at the neck which tends to me prevent turn the head if I close it completely... the time... I left ajar, which requires me by cool rolling with a scarf...

To summarize, this jacket is really reassuring, to the point that when it happens to me to take my bike without it, I feel almost "naked"... It does not cost me too much because in balance, but its cost base even exceeds the EUR 530...

About www.motorcyclists-online.com English version:
At the beginning, in 2001, www.motorcyclists-online.com was an exclusive French Motorcycle website. Now, since September 2005, it has become bilingual: English speaking people are welcome !
We do believe, at www.motorcyclists-online.com, that linguistic boundaries are not a problem when we share the same passion for bikes.
We are currently working on translating all articles and contents, to finish the UK/US version. You will certainly notice some bugs or translation errors: please do not hesitate to advise us by e-mail, Private Message or by posting in the Forum. Your help is welcome !
For the moment, articles which haven’t been human translated are automatically machine translated, which I must confess is not really famous, but faster than human translators.
