Moto-Guzzi 1200 Stelvio, first official pictures

The new Moto-Guzzi 1200 Stelvio will be unveil during the next EICMA Motorcycle show of Milan.
Here are for you the first official pictures of this direct contender of the BMW 1200 GS.

Stelvio is a suggestive name for those who rode across the Italian Alps.
Stelvio is a beautiful col situated at the heart of one of he most spectacular mountains of the earth (ask BBC's Top Gear Team).
So this name was totally fated for this bike made for travelling, discovering and adventure.

As usual now on Moto-Guzzi bikes, the Stelvio is very well equiped.
Powered by the new 1200 cc, eight valve engine who puts out over 100 horsepower with massive torque, the Stelvio will feature also adjustable windshield on the integrated nose fairing.


At the rear, the brand new frame is coupled to a single member swingarm that carries the CARC shaft drive transmission inside it. At the front the frame is supported by a mighty 50 mm upside down fork with radial calipers. The 19” and 17” spoked wheels are anodised in a black finish and shod with generous tyres.
Fittings for a complete set of panniers are integrated in the frame and the seat is adjustable to three different positions, telling you clearly that this motorcycle is ready to take you wherever you want to go.

Its sure now that the Moto-Guzzi 1200 Stelvio was made for fight against the queen of the segment, the BMW GS model.

The big adventure bikes segment is tough but the Stelvio seems well armed. Official presentation at Milan November 6th.
