2008 Yamaha Ténéré ?

Trail motorcycles are healthy these days, and now some say that Yamaha is currently working on a brand new Yamaha Ténéré, a new model of the mythical bike who won several times the Dakar Rallye.

Scheduled to be presented at the EICMA Show of Milan, this new Yamaha Ténéré would be motorised by the monocylinder of the MT-03.
With a brand new châssis, high suspension clearance and new wheels of 17 inch rear and 21 at the front.
The instrument cluster will be also new and may feature a GPS, at last the front would be ispired from the Ténéré of the Dakar and the rear light will be make with LED.

A brand new real adventure bike for Yamaha, potential direct contender for mono cylinder KTM adventure bikes, and also maybe new contender for the Dakar Rallye, to at last try to end the Austrian trust...
