Pannonia Motorcycles rising from its ashes

A small Hungarian invester group decided to relaunch Pannonia after three decades of inactivity.
The first brand new model will be lauch at the end of this year.

After all these years of inactivity, Imre Màzlò, Director of the factory hopes that the restart of Pannonia will go well like it is scheduled, for the end of this year.
With a million of forints invested, the reborning company is actually composed by 20 « motorcycles lovers » dedicated to the design and engineering of the new motorcycle range.

Pannónia Motors Magyarország was legally ceated in 2002 by a group of fans of the old manufacturer, in the intention to see the reborn of an old Hungarian industry glory.
The estimated production is about 200 to 300 motorcycles a year and they plan to open 5 stores and services station in the country.

The first model which will launch will be motorised by a four stroes V Twin with a displacement of 234cc and 18,5 bhp, it will be called TL 2007 (for the moment), TL means "teleszkóp lengővilla" in english Telescopic fork, a big technical innovation before.
A second model is already scheduled and it will be based on the T 5C concept and motorised by a four strokes twin cylinder inline.

The first Pannonia motorcycle came out of the factory of Csepel in 1954.
Exported in USA but named « White » the company starts to go down in 1974 when Yamaha decided to invest and incrase the production capacity to 50 000 motorcycles with a factory 40 000 square meters bigger. The managing team of Pannonia sabotaged the deal and the las bike came out in 1975, it was the 689 039th...

Rien de rien. Quelques photos de modeles numeriques, puis un maquette 3D plutot maladroit.
Le contenu de cette article reste aussi loin de la realite qu'il y a un an. Ceci est parti comme un canular, et n'en est toujours pas loin.

Merci pour les souvenirs des bons vieux temps. Ces coureurs sont toujours en bonne santé, et nous racontent pas mal de choses. Et courent encore, de temps en temps, quoique les 70 ans bien passés.
