This W650 was the first real « neoclassical » bike of the market. It brings out for the pleasure of all the old look of the mythical Bonneville. It is motorised by a vertical twin engine, easily ridable, it has been able to impose its coolness, and versatility.
Aesthetically it is in the 60's or 70's standards, the look is old fashion and the engine is very good looking. But every thing is old fashin on this bike, even the brakes, like the engine, the brakes are cool and calm... The châssis is also king of smooth and the overall behaviour is good, but not as eficient as a roadster. Its engine is linear and will make you able to take a maximum of pleasur, but without any fear. With this bike you can ride old fashined, and cornerig very smoothly. Even though if you want the W650 could brigs you out the road, te little bike never says no to a little ramble on a gravel track. But the vintage style has also some disadvantages, like the thinner of the seat or the fact that tall pepole will have their legs a little too bend.
In conclusion this bike is very likable, it demand a little adapting time but it soon become very pleasant to ride, and it is charming by its readiness and engine linearity. Its a very good bike to go for a ride.
