Cafe Racer and Superbikes, that is what CR&S means. Created in 1992 by Roberto Crepaldi, this factory destined to give vent to his « wildest » motorbike passions.
First it was a company who sold old motorcycles of 60's and 70's and made some race preparations for Supersorts bikes. Then Crepaldi met John Britten. The New Zealand's Genius, who built as crazy motorcycles as performant. Crepaldi and Britten associated themselves to create a racing team with the V1000 bike. CR&S become a race factory.
After John Britten's death, CR&S stop competition and focus on a new project. Road bike prototype, with a monocylinder engine, Vun Project is on. Built in Raceo in England for the chassis, the Engine is made in the Roberto Pattoni's Factory, Director of the old Grand Prix Team Paton. Roberto Pattoni become a new partner of the advenbture in 2004 and the first Prototype is presented in the Intermot Cologne show the same year.
The Vun is a totally hand made bike and tunable as you want. Many options is at your wish like suspensions kit, colour schemes, brakes, tyres, steering damper... But the most important part of it is also tunable, the engine, 652cc monocylinder. Proposed in three versions, 34 bhp, 54bhp, and 68 bhp certified. In a chassis as performant as it the real question stay with the weight of the beast? Empty, 135Kg!! With Brembo brakes, 320mm at the front with Radial 4 pistons caliper, stong chassis, and good suspensions with front fork of 46mm, I let you imagine what you could do with it in a climb race...
the price is from 10 700 € taxes out, but if you bought all pieces in the catalog, you could have a more than 15 000€ bike...
