Ducati claims the new 1098 is the most powerfull twin cylinder in the world with the highest torque to weight ratio. The 1098 is the combination of Ducati MotoGP and Superbike technology: the base version will output 160CV for 173kg (381lbs).
We say goodbye to the hideous (IMO) superposed headlight: the horizontal twin headlamps in a quite 916-esque way feature the latest polyellipsoidal lighting technology.
The MotoGP instrumentation is taken directly from de Desmosedici GP7 wisth handlebar switch control.
Guess what? the single sided swingarm is supposed to be lightweight and rigid with unique diecast/fabricated manufacturing technique, and the rear linkage is smaller and lighter... Braking is radial, monobloc, and made by Brembo.
Twin under-seat exhaust in stainless steel terminate the 2-1-2 lightweigh system.

giorgio3400 (09-11-2006): traduit: ducati c'est de l'argent volé. un jour je vais vous renseigner, moi j'ai bien eu une 750 sport, année 1972: apré 9 mois je l'ai vendue (ouffff). Entre autre: les gamins de bologna (ils aime manger, eux, ca c'est bien connu..), il leur a faillu 3 (trois) moix pour reviser ma boite de vitesse, les fichus salo, trois mois sans moto, les betes de l'enfer. E le reste: un desastre (electrique, perte d'uil, ecc.). bon, salut le gars.
