The USA motorycle market is not "funny" for the japanese motorbikes enthusiast... They often have bikes one year after Europe, if the bike is available...

Anyway, the 2007 Interceptor gets new colors: a very nice (IMO) Candy Dark Red, and a Pearl Blue/Pearl White/Red tri-color paint scheme with an unique 25th anniversay tank badging and black-painted wheels and frame.

Features
- The VTEC combines the power characteristics of both two- and four-valve cylinder-head designs.

The engine runs on two valves per cylinder below 6400 rpm and then switches to four valves per cylinder, delivering significantly stronger low-end and mid-range torque, while maintaining the Interceptor®'s impressive high-rpm power delivery.
- The 2007 Interceptor meets the California Air Resources Board (CARB) 2008 emissions standards.

Pricing:
Interceptor ABS VFR800A7 Candy Dark Red $11,599.00
VFR800AS7 - Pearl Blue/Pearl White/Red $12,099.00

tonyh (25-10-2006): Well I guess it was bound to happen. When everyone else is bringing something out to remind us of our youth. The colours took me back to my introduction of the Interceptor (new to me then). I had that bike for 6 wonderful years before I had to retire it from the road after 120,000 kilometers. Then I had to try the CBR's, YZF's, ZX's a couple of Duc's and even a Cruiser. I rented a 2006 VFR this past summer and really enjoyed the bike. The V-Tec is a none issue for me, I like complicated mechanical things. It's time again for me to get re-introduced to the new VFR with the Tri- Colours when it becomes available.
Later,
Tony

About www.motorcyclists-online.com English version:
At the beginning, in 2001, www.motorcyclists-online.com was an exclusive French Motorcycle website. Now, since September 2005, it has become bilingual: English speaking people are welcome !
We do believe, at www.motorcyclists-online.com, that linguistic boundaries are not a problem when we share the same passion for bikes.
We are currently working on translating all articles and contents, to finish the UK/US version. You will certainly notice some bugs or translation errors: please do not hesitate to advise us by e-mail, Private Message or by posting in the Forum. Your help is welcome !
For the moment, articles which haven’t been human translated are automatically machine translated, which I must confess is not really famous, but faster than human translators.
