Bandit 650/650S Features
Liquid-cooled, 4-cylinder, 4-valve-per-cylinder engine offering broad, responsive, smooth power and torque.
The Bandit 650/S styling keeps the symmetrical-layout (center-cam-drive) engine well-exposed for ready admiration.
Advanced, high-technology Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) fuel injection system effectively enhances smoothness of power delivery.

Valvetrain with direct-acting camshafts for positive valve actuation at high rpm, and narrow-valve-angle design for better breathing.
Friction-reducing chrome-nitride piston-ring coating.
Automatic Idle Speed Control (ISC) system helps maintain stable idle and improves cold starting.
Suzuki Pulsed-secondary AIR-injection (PAIR) system and other control systems allow the Bandit 650/S to meet tough Euro 3 emissions standards.

Six-speed transmission, with a hydraulic clutch actuation system designed for an easy clutch-lever pull.
ABS (Antilock Braking System) monitors brake lever input and wheel speed, and matches stopping power to available traction. (Bandit 650SA and Bandit 650A only)
The double-cradle steel frame with thick downtubes is color-coordinated with the fuel tank and other body parts.

41mm-stanchion-tube front fork with a full 130mm (5.1-inch) of wheel travel and adjustable spring preload.
Single-shock absorber, progressive-link rear suspension with adjustable rebound damping and spring preload.
310mm (12.2-inch) -diameter fully floating dual front brake discs with opposed 4-piston calipers. Single 240mm (9.4-inch) -disc rear brake with dual-piston caliper.

Radial tires on 17-inch cast-aluminum-alloy wheels.
The handlebar position can be adjusted 10mm forward or rearward.
Seat height can be raised or lowered 20mm using reversible spacers.
The distance from the clutch lever/front brake lever to the handlebars is 4-way adjustable.
Convenient centerstand.
The Bandit 650S comes with an attractive half-fairing featuring integrated, stacked halogen line-beam headlights.

The Bandit 650 features a round multi-reflector headlight trailed by a steamlined cover, and a sculpted cover ahead of the fuel tank.
Analog tachometer, LCD digital speedometer, LCD fuel gauge and clock, and LED indicator lights.

About www.motorcyclists-online.com English version:
At the beginning, in 2001, www.motorcyclists-online.com was an exclusive French Motorcycle website. Now, since September 2005, it has become bilingual: English speaking people are welcome !
We do believe, at www.motorcyclists-online.com, that linguistic boundaries are not a problem when we share the same passion for bikes.
We are currently working on translating all articles and contents, to finish the UK/US version. You will certainly notice some bugs or translation errors: please do not hesitate to advise us by e-mail, Private Message or by posting in the Forum. Your help is welcome !
For the moment, articles which haven’t been human translated are automatically machine translated, which I must confess is not really famous, but faster than human translators.
