BUT our European Yamaha contact hinted at an appearance in Milan later this year at the Eicma show. And since the prototype was shown in Tokyo it is highly likely that Yamaha will show the production ready version next.
We have unofficial confirmation that the V-max indeed will appear as a 2007 model.

The V-Max:
is in production since 1985
is slightly unchanged since 1985

The New V-Max:
we expect between 140 and 210HP
we expect a price between 13000 and 18000 USD.
We expect traction control, and ABS or linked brake system.
